Our journey began with a shared passion for outdoor education and a desire to help others experience the wonder of God’s creation. While Derrick helps lead the troop, he does so alongside a dedicated team of strong, godly men—fathers and mentors who serve shoulder to shoulder to guide boys in faith, character, and courage.

Trail Life’s mission—to guide generations of courageous young men to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and embrace outdoor adventure—is the heartbeat of our troop. We believe that adventure is a powerful tool for growth, and that discipleship thrives in a Christ-centered community.

Gabriela supports this mission with quiet strength—encouraging behind the scenes, helping with logistics, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for families. Her role may not be front and center, but it’s foundational to the warmth and hospitality that define our troop culture.
